I have a few near completed reviews of some other plugins that people from the community have developed , but for those who don’t keep an eye on the Moodle.org Plugins directory, here is a list of some of the recently published /updated plugins  (I won’t be reviewing them all, and have already done some in the upcoming book).

Lightbox Gallery Set

This resource allows you to create ‘Lightbox’ enabled image galleries within your Moodle course. As a course teacher, you are able to create, edit and delete galleries. Small thumbnails will then be generated, which are used for the thumbnail view of the gallery. The set also includes a block to display a thumbnail of random image from a course’s lightboxgallery.

Regular expression short answer

This question type aims at a more advanced system of student’s response analysis through the use of regular expressions. It can be used on its own and can also be incorporated into the existing Cloze (embedded) question type.

Enrol users with CSV

This block allows teachers to enrol users into a course by allowing a teacher to upload a csv file with only email addresses. It then goes through the list and enrols the users into the course. This avoids the teacher needing admin access to the user upload to batch enrol into the course. After running the upload you can download a txt file that contains a log of the enrolled and failed users.

Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals (GSB) Set

This allows automatic medal awards for Moodle courses based upon a defined benchmark criteria of activities and resources. you will need to install both parts of the set. The set consists of a report which allows the criteria to be benchmarked and a block to publicise the award to the teacher(s).
